The present work is aimed at the synthesis of Fe(II) doped CdS nanoparticles and investigating the photocatalytic decolorization efficiency of synthesized nanoparticles against Acid Blue (AB-29) dye solution under varying controlling parameters such as catalyst dose, initial concentration of dye and pH. The samples were prepared by colloidal chemical precipitation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction and HRTEM techniques. The results were evaluated by using visible absorption spectroscopy. The obtained results witnessed the high photocatalytic decolorization efficiency of Fe(II) doped CdS nanoparticles at the pH 8.
